Hey all! Welcome to our August 2021 progress update! Normally we try to get one out every month, but we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes for the next major update.

The State of the Toontown Offline Team Despite the challenges we as a team have faced in the past couple of months, we are doing our best to ensure things are back at a normal pace. We’ve welcomed a couple of former team members back and have been pushing full steam ahead on our next major update. What’s Next for Toontown Offline?

Toontown Offline v1.1 With this blog post we are officially announcing our Toontown Offline v1.1 update! This update will be one of our biggest in a long time featuring the Endless Building, a major revamp to the prop system, and more!

The Endless Building When we say, “Endless Building”, many of you might think of just a regular cog building with an infinite number of floors. This, however, is far from the case! The Endless Building is home to a wide variety of new activities and surprises.

Prop Generator At the heart of Toontown Offline is the ability to customize Toontown to your liking. The biggest way players can express their creativity is through our Prop Generator. With the Prop Generator, players can do nearly anything from simply adding a lamp in a nice spot to creating entire new areas! In our next update, the Prop Generator gets EVEN BETTER!

One of the Prop Generators biggest limitations is the selection UI. Currently, you must repeatedly scroll through our massive (319 props prior to this update and growing!) selection of props one at a time through the left and right arrows. This is something we’re changing. With our next update, we’re adding a whole new UI to select props from. This new UI has a full screen grid with all the available props, along with categories, searching, and favoriting props to completely reinvent the way you use the Prop Generator.

With this update we are also greatly expanding the possibilities with the prop generator! We're introducing a wide variety of new props with many new customization features and interaction! We won't spoil it all just yet, so you'll have to wait and see!
